The sole has maintained its shape and has worn evenly. Any others with flat feet have likely noticed that shoes for us tend to wear into a wedge that gets exponentially worse as it just feeds on itself and throws off your whole posture. I purchased these not for the purported calorie burning or toning benefits but to lessen the impact of taking a step. Lacking an arch just transfers all that to your knees and hips and is quickly painful and destroys orthopedics without prejudice.
