They were so bad that I felt that if someone was not careful with this when cleaning that they would seriously cut themselves. So, I took care of that myself. The seller does not stock any spare parts for this fryer. The unit got up to 375+ degrees F. (which is good) and kicked off like it was suppose to. However, There may be some issues with the thermocouple. Once food had been prepared in it, it struggled to get back up to 350 degrees F. even with nothing in it. This is a lot of fryer for the money (made over seas), compared to what ones cost that are made in the U.S.A.. But, it really needs to be able to stay at 360 to 375+ degrees F.. The cheap pamphlet that it comes with states that the fryer is 2X1700 watts or 3400 watts total not the 5000 watts as they advertise it to be. I asked the seller...
